This beginner-friendly course introduces the fundamentals of relief printing, a classic printmaking technique. Students will learn the complete process by designing, hand-carving, and printing their own linoleum block to create a finished edition. Each participant will develop one completed series featuring subject matter of their choosing, allowing for creative expression and personal artistic vision.
This three-hour class includes a brief break midway through the session. No prior experience is necessary, and drawing ability is not required to successfully complete this course. All materials needed for the project are provided as part of the class.
