Sustainable Living Holiday Centerpiece Workshop with The Boy Who Cried Flowers
Anthony Maslo, also known as The Boy Who Cried Flowers, has been adding his exuberant touch to floral installations throughout the Southland. Recently named the 2020 Mayesh Design Star, Anthony’s passion for flowers and education are undeniable. A master of color and movement, Anthony’s keen eye for detail has led him to collaborations with many of LA’s top design firms, including The Flower Boy Project and Wild Flower Boom.
In this course, Anthony will focus on sustainable practices by guiding students in arranging planted centerpieces celebrating the holiday season . Who doesn’t love a centerpiece that will live well beyond the party?
Anthony will share some of his tips for choosing plants and flowers that will complement each other as well as speak to the yuletide season. With Anthony’s guidance, each student will produce a stunning, living arrangement featuring some of his favorite blooming plants such as Amaryllis and Paperwhites, as well as Succulents and Air plants.
