Description

Popular music frequently celebrates the beauty of spring-blooming bulbs like tulips and hyacinths, so why not incorporate both into your floral design work? Discover how these flowers transform and develop within a vase environment, and learn proven techniques for encouraging desired growth patterns. You will create a mixed vase arrangement drawing inspiration from "The Doors," specifically their iconic song "Hyacinth House."

Musical influences for this design project:

Los Lobos, "Kiko and the Lavender Moon"

Buena Vista Social Club, "Dos Gardenias"

Important Information:

Following your registration, you will receive an email confirmation approximately one week before the class session.
Classes are held at Flower Duet's studio space; please work from your own designated workspace. If you are experiencing illness, please remain home. Face masks are optional but welcome. Wear comfortable footwear and a warm layer, as our design studio space tends to be cool, particularly during the winter months. Individual chairs are provided at each station, though many participants prefer to work standing up.
All supplies and fresh flowers for the project are included in the course fee.

Refund Policy

Registration fees for classes that are less than $100 are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Registration fees that are $100 or more are refundable, minus a $25 processing fee, up to 15 business days before the class date.

In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non refundable registration fee.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
