Description

The Dahlia has become one of the most photographed and admired flowers in the world, and for good reason. Native to Mexico, this spectacular bloom comes in an extraordinary range of colors, shapes, and sizes. In this class, we will feature several Dahlia varieties as the centerpiece of a mixed summer bouquet arranged in a vase. You will learn how to care for Dahlias, condition them properly, and design with them to create a stunning, long-lasting arrangement.

Class Song Inspirations:

  • Talking Heads "Nothing but Flowers"
  • Nat King Cole "Stardust"
  • Paula Cole "Zinnias and Dahlias"

Please Note:

  • After you register, you will receive a confirmation email approximately one week before class.
  • Come to Flower Duet's studio ready to work at your own design space. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell. Wear comfortable shoes and layers, as the design space can be cool. Chairs are provided, though many students prefer to design standing.
  • The fee covers all supplies and flowers.

Refund Policy

  • Registration fees for classes that are less than $100 are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  • Registration fees that are $100 or more are refundable, minus a $25 processing fee, up to 15 business days before the class date.

In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non refundable registration fee.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
