Unleash your creativity with Botanical Plaster Casting. Explore the bas-relief technique, using textures from nature to craft intricate sculptures. This workshop welcomes all levels, providing an opportunity to create detailed and beautiful artworks with real plants and flowers.
This class explores the bas-relief technique using textures and details from nature. English speakers adopted bas-relief from French (where bas means "low" and relief means "raised work").
Artists will use real plants and flowers to make an impression into a clay surface. Once the mold is ready, artists will cast the arrangement, preserving the artwork in an incredibly detailed and beautiful sculpture.
This workshop is open to all levels- no experience necessary. All materials will be included!
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
