Description

If you love the natural world of creatures, learn how to interpret and convey the key qualities in your drawings and/or paintings. Students will learn the secrets to unlock a 3D representation, real or fantasy.

What you'll learn:

  • Anatomy and Gesture
  • Compositions
  • Value and Light
  • Color Theory
  • Perspective
  • Mark making and Edge

Sample Class Format:

  • Day 1: Reference collecting and thumbnails for value keys
  • Day 2: Anatomy, color theory, perspectives, begin formal painting/drawing
  • Day 3-5: Paint/Draw referring to our initial work toward our vision of the final piece

What To Bring:

  • Drawing or Oil/Acrylic painting supplies
  • Reference photos
  • Option to purchase supplies, $50

Refund Policy

  • Tuition is not refundable but may be transferred to a class of equal value within 3 weeks

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
