Description

Take your wine expertise to the next level with this focus on the grape and its champion, the New World. We’ll review wine basics, then explore wine of the Americas, from its heart in Mexico and advancing into the U.S. West Coast, Chile and Argentina. Our in-depth discussion includes recent, groundbreaking studies that marry 10,000 years of wine tradition to science for the first time! We’ll taste 6 exemplary American wines, complemented by traditional wine noshes, along with Baked Brie en Croute to test the “rules” of wine and food. An understanding of wine basics (such as the concept of ‘terroir’) is recommended. Join Advanced Sommelier Mary Ross to elevate your intermediate wine knowledge to the next level.

You must be 21 or over to attend. Please present valid ID at the time of check-in.

Refund Policy

All classes have a three (03) day cancellation policy, except Culinary Boot Camps 1 and 2 which have a two-week cancellation policy.
You must email [email protected] to cancel an existing reservation.
If you cancel a class other than Culinary Boot Camps 1 & 2 more than 3 days in advance and have paid with a credit card, you will receive a refund to your card, minus the 15% administrative fee which is non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you cancel more than 3 days in advance and have paid with a gift card, you will receive an account credit valid toward future classes, minus the administrative fee.
If you cancel within three days of your class, you will receive an account credit equal to 50% of the class price less 15% administrative fee, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. This credit is valid for one year.
If you are unable to attend, you are also welcome to send a guest in your place.
Culinary Boot Camps 1 & 2 have a 2-week cancellation policy so any cancellations before 2-weeks will receive a refund minus the administrative fee.
No credits will be given for cancellations within 2 weeks.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
