With over two decades of sushi-making expertise stretching from California to Boston, Chef Harold is ready to share his knowledge with you. This sushi fundamentals class is free of gluten, nuts and dairy, and focuses on small rolls, or hosomaki; inside out rolls, or uramaki; and hand rolls, or temaki.
Begin the hands-on class with miso soup, then move on to mastering sushi rolling. You'll start with a spicy tuna or salmon roll, then craft a vegetable roll filled with avocado, cucumber and carrot. Next up, learn the secrets to making a hand roll from scratch with shrimp tempura or sweet potato tempura, and end on a crunchy note with tempura nori and spicy tuna.
Guests are welcome to purchase wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
