Description
What you'll learn in this woodworking class:
This open shop is designed for students who have recently taken a bowl turning class at NBSS and are comfortable using a bowl gouge and scraper. Please arrive on time for a brief overview and demonstration. No additional instruction is given during the open studio, however a studio monitor is available for safety and assistance. If you would like more instruction, you may sign up for the Introduction to Bowl Turning class again; it is designed for students to take multiple times.
Prerequisite: Students should have taken a Bowl Turning class at NBSS in the last two years and be comfortable using a bowl gouge and scraper. Please contact us if you have questions about your experience.
Health & Safety: Covid-19 vaccination required. Please answer required question(s) at checkout.
Tools and supplies: One poplar blank and all other tools are provided and are included in the tuition price. Bowl blanks ($10-$40) are available for purchase during the open shop.

- Refunds are not possible for cancellations or transfers received within 15 business days of the class start date.
