This bootcamp shifts the focus from software features to design judgment. It assumes you already have working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and spends its time on the harder question of how to make something that works: composition, hierarchy, typography, color, and the conceptual thinking that gives a piece a reason to exist. Every project starts from a real-world brief rather than a blank canvas.
You produce eight pieces across the range of work a designer is hired to do, including logo and brand identity, a book cover, an album cover, an event poster, a magazine spread, a travel brochure, a restaurant menu, and a business card. Each project is critiqued against professional standards and refined based on that feedback, which is where most of the improvement happens. Finished work is published to Adobe Portfolio, included with the Adobe Creative Cloud student license provided during your training, leaving you with a portfolio website you can send to employers and clients.
