Looking for an exciting way to work on writing your play? Join us for a workshop exploring the use of improvisation as a tool to creating scripted work. Through the use of specific exercises that support character and story development we will improvise scenes and character explorations based on each other’s suggestions to support the creation of scripted works. We will also work with written pages and learn how improvisational work can expand the depth of your characters and story. Still in the conceptual stage of your play? We will show you how improvisation can help flesh out your idea and jumpstart a full scene. Anything is possible. Participants will be actors and improvisors who want to write as well as writers who are open to exploring their work in this way.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
