A great course for those who have never had any German or those who would like to start their studies over from scratch. Here is a summary of what students will learn by the end of the Beginner 1 level:
COMMUNICATION: Greet and stay goodbye, introduce yourself and others, provide personal information, polite you, spelling words, counting to 100, talk about conditions, officials introduce someone, tell your occupation, talk about work, understand a schedule, talk about daily routine, identify a problem, talk about family, state your nationality and language, tell the time, weekend activities to plan, express desire, arrange to meet,
VOCABULARY: Names of persons, countries, continents, numbers from 1-100, alphabet, sounds with definite article, verbs in present tense, W-questions and statements, days of the week, professions, places of work, activities, times of the day, days of the week, the verb to have, yes/no questions, verbs in present tense.
Next level: German Beginner 2 or greater.

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
