What you'll learn in this escape room class:
You and your friends book a Groupon to the North Pole and are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed to go explore the blistering cold and all that it has to offer. After a couple of hours on the private plane, you notice some turbulence but shrug it off, and decide to take a snooze. In the middle of the night, you're awakened by heart-stopping turbulence. Over the PA system, an announcement from Captain Thayne Jackson informs the group you'll have to make an emergency landing immediately!!
After landing, you realize some of your group's equipment/luggage was lost during the emergency landing, and to top it all off you're all stranded with no cellular service. Captain Jackson informs you that though she has very little experience in this region, she can hopefully help guide you to your destination, the North Pole. Jackson has warned you of obstacles that lie ahead. From the majestic reindeer and playful penguins to the terrifying polar bears and blistering blizzards, you can only imagine the trek ahead.
What you'll do in this public virtual escape room:
- Our facilitator will welcome the group, go over the rules of the game, and start the event with high energy
- We will then use breakout rooms to split you into teams where you will be working to solve riddles, puzzles, and challenges to escape the room
- Groups will be presented clues in the form of character descriptions, virtual maps, audio clips, and video clips and will play mini-games to uncover additional information that will help them escape
Note: Must have a Zoom account and be able to connect to the game via Zoom.
Remote Learning
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Refund Policy
Cancellation Policy:
- We cannot provide refunds for events where materials have been shipped
- Cancel your event for free if you provide at least a 2-week notice
- Cancellations less than two weeks out will result in a fee of 50% of the minimum deposit amount
- Rescheduling requests less than 48 hours before the event will result in a $150 rescheduling fee
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
