Prepare yourself for cuteness, this CraftJam will be aww-some. It’s time to learn needle felting!
Needle felting is the art of sculpting wool with special barbed needles. Stabbing the wool over and over again meshes the wool fibers together, creating a firm, textile object. Needle felting is an ideal craft, because it has a quick learning curve, requires minimal supplies and can be done almost anywhere.
In this WebJam, a certified JamMaster will teach you:
- What materials to use
- How to design your project
- How to turn unspun wool into a miniature 3D creation
- How embellish and finish your creation
This class is beginner-friendly; no experience necessary!
Here are our suggested supplies:
- Wool roving in various colors
- Core wool batting
- Commercial grade #38 triangle needles
And this is how a WebJam works:

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
