This engaging two-day hands-on workshop focuses exclusively on working with Shannon Fabrics Cuddle® material and state-of-the-art BERNINA L8 Series Sergers. You'll master the fundamental techniques for cutting Cuddle® fabric while learning how to feed, manipulate, and serge this delightful plush material. Whether you're new to serging or already experienced, this workshop builds confidence and introduces innovative approaches to working with specialty fabrics.
Throughout the two-day experience, you'll create three finished projects to take home and enjoy. On the first day, you'll construct a Cuddle® Infinity Scarf featuring this wonderfully soft material. During the second day, your focus shifts to crafting a sumptuous throw blanket and a coordinating envelope-style pillow complete with a Shannon Fabrics pillow form insert. These giftable finished projects showcase professional results achieved during the workshop.
Please note that if you already own a Bernina L Series Serger, you're welcome to bring it, but you'll be expected to partner with and mentor an enthusiastic beginner so both participants gain maximum benefit from the learning experience.
