Students will learn how to use a sewing machine and learn how to sew straight seams and pressing skills as they design and create a progressive, piecework, Art pillow. Sewing corners, turning, stuffing and hand stitching the closure is also included.
Use of Sewing machines, accessories, Fabric and stuffing for pillow all included with class fee. Students need not bring anything to class except camera or paper for note taking/learning tools.

SEWING BOTTOMS CAMP
Expand basic sewing skills for fashion, fiber art & textile design projects.
Students will make their first pair of elastic waist shorts or pants. Your fabric choice should be appropriate weight for your choice of pj bottoms or street wear.
Learn Size selection, Pattern Layout, Pinning, Cutting, Marking and machine Sewn assembly to professional finishing.
Class fee includes use of pattern, use of our sewing machine, iron and other tools.
Students must bring woven (not knit) fabric:
Fabric should be 45" wide (pre-washe, dried and pressed) WOVEN (NOT KNIT) cotton or cotton/polyester fabric and 1 spool of coordinating sewing thread.
Rescheduling or transfers to another date or other class are 100% transferable (Refund requests are 90% refundable) when withdrawal requests are made greater than 4 business days prior to class start.
No refunds, credits or make-up sessions available on short-notice cancellations (less than 4 business days notice) students should consider gifting or selling their seat to a friend.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
