What you'll learn in this intro to programming class:
" Intro to Python" course provides an introduction to software engineering in the Python programming language by Byte Academy. Students with no experience can go from zero to understanding the core concepts of coding.
You will learn the fundamental concepts of programming in Python, concepts that are shared by almost all programming languages. The course is a great way to find out if coding is right for you. Even if you have no intention of becoming a software engineer, your new expertise will help you perform faster data analysis, communicate more effectively with technology teams and provide a foundation for further study in programming or data science.
By the end of this course, you will be comfortable with:
- Python Data Types
- Control Flows and Loops
- Functions and Exception Handling
Intro to Python is held over 2 weeks- on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6pm, ET in 4 sessions. Each session is online with live, instructor led lectures lasting about 1 - 2 hours long. After lectures, work on the exercises at your own pace. Assessment on the last day to qualify for the bootcamps here.
Remote Learning
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Refund Policy
Cancellation and refund requests must be made 5 days prior to the class start date.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
