What you'll learn in this final cut pro training:

In this 2 day hands-on training class you will learn the principles of non-linear video editing and how to apply them to projects as diverse as films, documentaries, slideshows, tutorials, music clips, weddings/events, etc., as well as enhance them with titles, transitions and artistic effects.

Final Cut Pro Level 1 course was tailored to address the everyday needs of beginner and intermediate video editors in the challenging world of fast-developing multimedia technology.

You will also discover how to do professional video effects like picture-in-picture, split screen, green screen, slow/fast/reverse motion, freeze frames, sepia color, etc. Finally you will learn how to export your creations for DVD, Blu-ray, You Tube, Quick Time and other popular output formats.

Audience: Our Apple Final Cut Pro course is a beginner class for students new to editing or who have not used Final Cut Pro before and want to learn how to edit video, and the art of motion graphics and compositing.

Prerequisite: Basic Computer Skills & File Management on Windows or Mac

  • Customizing workspaces
  • Accessing all panes and palettes

The Project Pane

  • Importing media
  • Video, video/audio, audio, stills images, layered Photoshop documents
  • Acceptable file formats, missing codecs, using “.VOB” assets
  • Displaying an organizing media
  • Linked media, unlinked and offline assets
  • Creating utility media (bars and tone. lead counter, black video, color matte, transparent video)

  • Creating a new sequence (choosing the right video standard)

Refund Policy
We offer a full refund for classes canceled five business days before the first day of class. If you do not cancel or reschedule the class, you will be charged the full price of the class. Students may withdraw from any course (except when they have late-rescheduled) within 2 hours of when the instruction has started the training, and receive a full refund, provided the reason for their withdrawal is dissatisfaction with the course and/or instructor. No refunds will be given if the student attends more than 2 hours of instruction. 

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes. In the event we cancel a class, you can reschedule the class, or receive a full refund of all registration fees paid to us. All cancellations will incur a $75 processing fee, and 7% for Credit Card Fees as we incur (3.5% on purchase and same on refund). We are not liable, however, for any other expenses you may incur including travel arrangements.
