The intensive curriculum, delivered in a small group setting by an accomplished motion graphics instructor with industry experience, provides hands-on, practical training that gets you creating immediately. If you prefer more extensive training beyond this introductory workshop, you may advance directly to our comprehensive After Effects Level 1 program for continued skill development.
Core Curriculum and Skills:
This focused hands-on workshop covers the fundamental knowledge required to work productively in After Effects. You will develop proficiency with the application interface layout and navigation, understand how to effectively manage the timeline, work with video and image assets, execute layer-based animations, apply sophisticated easing techniques that create smooth, natural-looking motion, implement fade transitions and effects, and apply numerous additional professional techniques. By the conclusion of this intensive single-day experience, you will have foundational competency and hands-on experience creating your own animations and motion graphics.
Prerequisites and Background Knowledge:
Previous experience with Adobe Photoshop is beneficial for understanding Adobe workflows and interface conventions, though prior Photoshop knowledge is not required for successful completion of this course. The curriculum is structured to accommodate participants regardless of their background with other Adobe applications.
