People have strong feelings about outlining—they either love it or hate it. But there's a middle ground.
You can approach outlining in a way that preserves creative discovery while you write. The key is understanding story structure basics, its different types, and which ones work best for specific kinds of stories.
Many books on story structure muddy the waters by using different terms for the same concepts. This can be frustrating for writers trying to learn.
This hands-on workshop blends lectures with personal feedback to help you craft an outline using the three-act structure. With dedication, you'll develop a working outline—or at least a clear direction—that keeps room for creative discovery during writing.

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Since we have a variety of services, we have different refund policies for each service, but we reserve the right to deduct registration and/or bank fees for each refund.

ONLINE EMAIL COURSES, AUDIO COURSES & WRITING CHALLENGES
There are no refunds for online email workshops, audio courses, and online writing challenges. However, we may be able to roll your registration fee over to another workshop or a comparable coaching session.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
