Learn to use block-based coding to read sensors, light LEDs, create games, and play music using the BBC micro:bit. In this class, we will explore the device by assembling fun and simple code. As the course advances, students will be introduced to programming the device with Python.
For students that decide not to purchase the device, the course can be done in its entirety using the online simulator.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
