Are you curious about human history? Inventions? What about how the geographic locations that have helped encapsulate cultures and ideas? Social Studies provides a foundation for fundamental concepts in understanding events, behaviors, political structures, human migration, and so much more.
In this course, we will explore the concepts from history, government, economics, civics, sociology, geography, and anthropology with the interest of the enrolled students used as a guide along our journey through history.
We will explore questions such as What is history? Why is it important? What can we do with it? What is your history? What significant events led to where you are today? What can you learn from the past?
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Students have 2 weeks to try out a class to make sure it's a good fit. If they don't email us by the end of the second week, they are automatically enrolling for the entire session. If they decide to drop a class after attending, they will only be charged for the sessions they attended.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
