Description
Want to spruce up your bedroom or living room? Creating the perfect pillow is a great way to add color, texture, or a pop to any room in your home. Learn how to sew various pillow sizes and shapes while adding fringe and a zipper.
This class is perfect for beginners and intermediate levels. Learn how to make a pillow and all of the fun additions, and walk away with a pillow you made. We also offer kits of pre-cut pillow supplies so if you want to bring home a match and make it on your own, you have the option. The kits are available for $20 and can be purchased after the class. The first one that we make in class is on us!
During this class you will learn:
- all of the necessary sewing terminology and equipment
- 2 Stitches and seam finishes: straight stitch and zigzag stitch
- proper installment of trims including pom poms to a pillow
- how to sew an invisible zipper
PROJECTS: One just made pillow cover with an invisible zipper with trim.
FABRIC AND SUPPLIES: Sewing kits included and will be shipped
Remote Learning
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Refund Policy
Cancellation / Reschedule / Refund Policy:
- You must give at least 4 business days notice to cancel or reschedule your enrollment in the Regular Classes or for a refund less a 5% cancellation fee
- 24 hour cancellation policy for Private Classes
- Once the class has started, we can no longer offer refunds
- In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount
