You can make shoes, boots, or sneakers of your own design. This will be a cemented shoe construction class, and is aimed for beginners and or repeat students. As this is a traveling class, we will be jumping right into patternmaking from day 1 after a crash course on the importance of lasts, and how to measure your feet. The instructor allowed each of us to create our own small leather project. I ended up making a subclass case. She taught me enough basic skills to feel comfortable investing in leather working as a hobby. I still make small leather goods today! -

There were a couple of different patterns to offer options of different wallets. I love how mine came out and can’t wait to give it as a gift and boast about my handiwork! -
