In this session you will learn how to make plates in two different sizes, small and large.
This is a pure wheel-throwing pottery course that will take you through the essential basics of the process. The course has been designed for beginners.
During this course, you will learn how to wedge clay to prepare it for the throwing process, centering clay on the wheel, how to throw a cylinder (think mugs or cups), a bowl, a bottle, a plate, and how to trim/turn the items you have made to give them an excellent finish. No previous experience is necessary and complete beginners are welcome.
To glaze your piece, you would need to register for a paint pottery session ($15 per person to glaze all your pieces. The glaze makes your pieces food safe and oven safe)
Refund policy 7 days: Attendees can receive refunds up to 7 days before your event start date.
Students can reschedule their event as long as its three days or more before the event.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
