Giuliano Boscaini was born in Turate (Como), Italy. Giuliano worked in the field of advertising graphics until 1986 when he decided to become a freelancer in this sector. His passion, aptitude and imagination in drawing soon led him to approach fine art.
"Painting in watercolor for me is a moment of meditation in which the logical mind vanishes, a state of non-thought, allowing me to draw energy and stillness from space."
His works contain moods and sensations represented by a language based on the right use of color, the play of water, light and the harmony of shapes.
During his journey he has participated in various exhibitions and impromptu, winning important awards and reviews in various newspapers. He participated in a project of the FAI (Italian Environment Fund) in the creation of watercolors of its most important assets (Villa del Balbianello in Como - Abbey of San Fruttuoso in Camogli, - Bosco di San Francesco in Assisi - Castle of Masino..Caravino in Turin - Kolymbethra Garden in the Valley of the Temples -Manta Castle in Cuneo - Panza Collection Villa in Varese - Avio Castle in Trento....and many others.)
He has participated in various prestigious group exhibitions, such as for example at the grand ducal palace of Revere (Mantova), at the La Meridiana Club in Casinalbo (Mo), Villa Soragna (Collecchio), NonantolArte, Monza in Watercolor.
Of relevance is the participation in the Urbino Watercolor Festival as an International Master.
Lately he has also been dedicating himself to teaching this technique, taking courses in various countries and organizing workshops in various Italian locations...Bologna, Brescia, Perugia, Florence, Comacchio, Como, Monza, Milan, France (Rochetailleè) and New York (Riverside art workshop)….promoting the knowledge of this complex but at the same time fascinating technique…where Fantasy and Emotions can express themselves freely thanks to the magic of Water & Colour.
