Spend an engaging afternoon or evening exploring the art of floral design with our introductory sampling class. The Sampler program is perfect for individuals interested in exploring our school's approach and departing with substantial knowledge about professional flower arrangement and design. This single session encompasses three distinct projects showcasing design traditions ranging from classic American styles to contemporary European techniques.
Renowned floral designer Michael Gaffney will provide direct instruction and also present his book Design Star, with the author autographing for all participants. All flowers and containers for your projects are provided at no additional cost. During this class, you will learn valuable techniques for extending cut flower longevity beyond the typical lifespan, and each participant takes home their completed arrangements. By day's end, you will have created numerous floral designs and likely need a shopping basket to transport all your work.
This Sampler class offers an exceptional introduction to professional flower design, taught using the same techniques Michael Gaffney shares on national television. The Sampler consists of one class session with three separate hands-on projects.
