In our Introduction to Machine Sewing workshop we start from the beginning, explaining all the parts and functions of your standard domestic sewing machine and from there we start on techniques and every student leaves with a finished project. Introduction to Machine Sewing
Matthew is a great teacher - knowledgeable about different sewing machines, very patient and excellent at communicating the “how” and “why” for each step. At the end of the lesson we had made our own very cool tote bags. We actually brought my (teen) daughter’s machine that had been sitting unused on the shelf, and he taught her the lesson on her own machine. She is looking forward to returning regularly to Atomic to work on more projects. -
