Become a skilled Phlebotomy Technician and embark on a rewarding healthcare career. Learn vital techniques and gain hands-on experience in collecting blood samples from patients. Get certified and open doors to various healthcare settings.
Phlebotomy Technicians are in demand as one of the fastest growing occupations in healthcare. Launch your career as a Phlebotomy Technician, collecting blood samples from patients in a hospital, clinical laboratory, medical office, or clinic. Through lectures and hands-on training, learn what you need to know about the circulatory system, venipuncture technique and specimen collection, risk factors and complications, and quality assurance.
Students must pay an additional $125 to sit for the the national exam and must pass the exam and submit all paperwork before being placed for externship. Placement will be coordinated by AUMT and will take place in a one week 40-hour schedule Monday - Thursday. Expected externship completion/program completion is one month after the final class meeting. Students must be at least 18 years old and have their HS Diploma or equivalent prior to enrolling.

If the College cancels a class for any reason, those pre-registered will be notified by phone and email and payment will be refunded. The school also reserve the right to substitute instructors or reschedule class times if necessary.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
