Description

Join us in a discovery of two art museums, one historic and the other contemporary. Our first discovery will be in the architecturally significant 1929 YWCA building designed by Julia Morgan. The Riverside Art Museum, or the RAM as it is known, shows a mix of solo, group, and permanent collection exhibits featuring traditional and modern art. Afterwards, enjoy lunch on your own at nearby Las Campanas Cuisine, a colorful Mexican cantina with a diverse menu. Following lunch, discover the relatively new The Cheech Marin Chicano Art & Culture Museum, or The Cheech, as it is known. This museum hosts a vibrant collection of contemporary Chicano art, much of it collected by the famed comedian. Your guide John Powers will prepare you for this journey with historical remembrances from different eras. Itinerary subject to change.

Depart: El Camino College lot J (in front of the Marsee auditorium) @ 9:00AM, Return: 6:00PM.

Refund Policy

Class Withdrawal

If you request to withdraw from a class and the request is received by us 4 business days prior to class start date, a credit voucher valid for three(3) years will be granted, less a $20 processing fee.

Special policy for excursions and special events:

Refund requests for excursions and special events must be received no later than 11 full business days before the scheduled excursion or event.

Cancellation

If the College cancels a class for any reason, those pre-registered will be notified by phone and email and payment will be refunded. The school also reserve the right to substitute instructors or reschedule class times if necessary.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
