Description

With John Powers as your host, begin your journey at the Drum Barracks and Civil War Museum. In a guided tour, learn about the pivotal role that our community played during the Civil War. Also, discover 19th century society, architecture, furniture, and fashion. Next, travel a short distance to the Banning Museum. Again, on a guided tour, learn the early transportation legacy of our community. Witness 19th century beginnings and compare them to the 21st century miracle of global logistics. Finally, enjoy lunch on your own* at the unique Chowder Barge in Port of Los Angeles.

Itinerary subject to change.

*Lunch is not included. Participants should enroll prepared to purchase lunch and "souvenirs/goodies" along the way.

Depart: El Camino College lot J (in front of the Marsee auditorium) @ 9:00AM, Return: 4:00PM.

Refund Policy

Class Withdrawal

If you request to withdraw from a class and the request is received by us 4 business days prior to class start date, a credit voucher valid for three(3) years will be granted, less a $20 processing fee.

Special policy for excursions and special events:

Refund requests for excursions and special events must be received no later than 11 full business days before the scheduled excursion or event.

Cancellation

If the College cancels a class for any reason, those pre-registered will be notified by phone and email and payment will be refunded. The school also reserve the right to substitute instructors or reschedule class times if necessary.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
