AC 301 will build on the knowledge and concepts laid out in AC 101/201, focusing on wireless connectivity with wireless focus, camera control, and wireless video.
Join us for AC 301, live from the comfort of your home, on the road, or anywhere. In this interactive session you will see the instructor and be able to ask questions.
This class takes place on the Zoom video conference platform, which is free to join and easy to use. Instructions will be sent to you before the class begins. Once the class starts, you will see the instructor, the gear being used, and the instructor's presentation. You will be able to ask questions via a live, moderated chat. After the class ends, you will also receive a copy of the instructor's PowerPoint or Keynote presentation, and a recording of the class.
AC 301 takes an advanced look into the various wireless components found on set, from remote focus units, wireless video, and available accessories to expand their capabilities. We'll look at programming lens files into wireless hand units, building the camera with receivers and motors, and compare the differences from the major systems by ARRI and Preston. For wireless video, we'll dig into pairing / radio channel compatibility, updating firmware, and proper signal routing. This class will teach you everything you need to know about using wireless equipment on set, from the set up, all the way through troubleshooting common issues.

If a participant is unable to attend for any reason, you may transfer registration to an alternate date or location, or use the full credit towards a different workshop.
You may also transfer enrollment to someone else, but you must provide the updated registrant information prior to the start of the class.
If unable to attend, you must notify CourseHorse within 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone classes in the event of low enrollment or forces beyond our control. If the instructor is sick or unable to attend, we will notify attendees 48 hours in advance of class to reschedule for a later date.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
