Kelly has always been considered an "artsy crafty" person growing up.  It started with crocheting, knitting, macramé, calligraphy and then of course, scrap-booking, it was just a matter of time until I discovered beading.

While in college, she took many art and design classes, not knowing where it would lead to.  Jewelry making became her favorite form of artistic expression for the last 12 years.  Once she ran out of friends and family to shower with jewelry,  she decided teaching others would be a great way to continue to make more jewelry while sharing the excitement.  This has been the best of both worlds for her.  She is married with two busy boys who fortunately see the therapeutic benefits beading provides for their mom.  

She is mostly known for teaching projects that you can complete in class.  She thinks instant gratification provides a great form of accomplishment.  She has gravitated toward bead weaving (while she still has good close up vision), and enjoy making Swarovski crystal jewelry.  However, she enjoys wire linking, bead embroidery, and mixed mediums too.
