French Julia Child Themed - Cooking
Anonymous review on 1/14/2020
This is class was great. It was really fun and the food was excellent. The chef instructor was interactive and super calm. There were multiple dishes being made, and she handled everyone's questions with calmness and humor. Something I think that would make it more fun would be to really play up the Julia Child French theme. Maybe dress the tables more like French style, or even discuss something about Julia Child's and why we were doing certain dishes. It seems we were there to crank out some food dishes but not really anything to do with the theme, which is why I wanted to do the class in the first place.

A lovely instructor but the class itinerary was a little unexpected. I was hoping for a lesson to hone my knife skills and learn how to properly use a knife and while I definitely learned a bunch of useful things, I don’t think I’m any better at the skill of cutting, sadly. Still a fun evening and great experience, I just didn’t get what I expected!

The class was fun and interesting. The size could be smaller at the venue. More cutting of items would be addition. But over all a good class. The food was tasty too

Class for good. Food was great. I wish there was more emphasis in the social part and we would have been called on to introduce ourselves and tell why we chose this class.

Knife Skills (Cooking Basics)

I was glad to have an introduction into several skills, particularly sharpening knives. I found that I already knew several of the techniques, but it's very good to review. In future I think it would be good to learn how to debone a chicken or the like, but that probably does not fit the descriptor of Cooking Basics.
The instructor was kind, patient, and relaxed.

The course was lots of fun. We had a great time learning how to make focaccia, pretzels, biscuits and baguettes. A wonderful thing for couples or girlfriends to do. Marjorie was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in baking. The recipes were delicious.

I am extremely disappointed!
I drove from Redondo Beach for this class THAT WAS NEVER ON THE SCHEDULE of the facility where the
class was to be held!! Other's were disappointed and cursed as they left too.
Not only do I deserve a refund, you should pay for my class as I still want to attend the bread making class!!
