We are a unique hands-on cooking class that caters to a myriad of culinary needs. You'll learn how to cook simple and healthy gourmet meals using seasonal, fresh ingredients. We offer an assortment of classes - from preparing world-wide cuisines to teaching you how to cook foods that heal our bodies - all in a fun, engaging atmosphere designed for all cooking types.
We also offer personalized menu planning, budgeting, and can accommodate a wide variety of specialized diets (gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, etc.) Now is the time more than ever where we need to think more consciously about where our food comes from and what we are eating.
Cooking not only is a way of life - it is also a way to connect with friends and family. Every class includes your own prepping station, your own set of tools and supplies, and ends with a delightful dinner party with the occasional wine pairing.
Notes: If students are 16 years of age or under they should be accompanied by a parent or guardian (who must also purchase a seat in the class)
This is class was great. It was really fun and the food was excellent. The chef instructor was interactive and super calm. There were multiple dishes being made, and she handled everyone's questions with calmness and humor. Something I think that would make it more fun would be to really play up the Julia Child French theme. Maybe dress the tables more like French style, or even discuss something about Julia Child's and why we were doing certain dishes. It seems we were there to crank out some food dishes but not really anything to do with the theme, which is why I wanted to do the class in the first place.
The class was very informative, fun and the instructor had a great personality.
I learned a lot. Thought Emma was a great. She was professional, supportive and made the class fun while focusing on knife skills and safety.
A lovely instructor but the class itinerary was a little unexpected. I was hoping for a lesson to hone my knife skills and learn how to properly use a knife and while I definitely learned a bunch of useful things, I don’t think I’m any better at the skill of cutting, sadly. Still a fun evening and great experience, I just didn’t get what I expected!
Chef Liz was great! The class had a good pace without feeling rushed. Great ambiance and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!
Super fun! Would have loved to do all the recipes a la hip cooks style but overall great fun.
The class was fun and interesting. The size could be smaller at the venue. More cutting of items would be addition. But over all a good class. The food was tasty too
Fun class and good food. Will definitely be going back.
Class for good. Food was great. I wish there was more emphasis in the social part and we would have been called on to introduce ourselves and tell why we chose this class.
My teens took this class and loved it. They are so excited to recreate the meal they made in class at home. We'll definitely be back for more lessons.
