at AbelCine Training - Burbank
Wed, Nov 08, 10:00am - Nov 09, 5:00pm Pacific Time ( 2 sessions )
For the first time ever, AbelCine will be offering RG-201 in a new, hybrid format. Tickets will be made available for both an in-person class experience, as well as a virtual class experience accessible via Zoom. When purchasing your ticket, please be sure to select the appropriate option – (AbelCine LA if opting for in-person, Virtual if opting for Zoom.)
In-person class attendees will receive the same class experience as always, featuring one-on-one time with the instructor and a workstation to follow along with.
Virtual remote attendees will receive access to the Zoom broadcast of the classroom, and will be able to ask questions of the instructor via the in-platform chat system.
There will also be a 1-hour follow up session for the virtual attendees the week after the class to discuss the concepts and review any remaining questions. The exact time of this session will be determined in discussion with the virtual attendees after the class begins.
Both Virtual and In-Person attendees will get access to the class media files as well as a copy of the Zoom session recording. Please note: if you attend in person or have your camera on in the virtual session, your likeness may be captured in this recording.
Ideal for current Resolve Colorists with at least a year experience or students who have taken a previous iColorist class or an online course like my FXPHD offerings. We cover advanced techniques using the latest Resolve software. Focused on Colorists who are grading Feature Films, Commercials, Reality TV, Documentaries and TV Drama.
A variety of different media formats will be used and the emphasis will always be on grading a sequence rather than individual clips.
The media used comes from a variety of different cameras, and is not always beautifully shot so more like the footage and challenges we face everyday as a colorist.
This iColorist virtual workshop is capped at six people with each student getting a media download link 5 days before the class starts. Students are encouraged to share their own material so they can get individual feedback from the instructor.
This class is designed around a number of small sequences. We will work through the timelines from start to finish considering the best strategies to get the job finished efficiently. You can keep all the class media, the lessons, projects and the screen recordings. Making it a great way to continue your learning long after the class has finished.
What will you Learn:
All Proxies, Optimized Media, and RAW Debayer explained.
