  Jenn was a great instructor. She is very patient and very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed her instruction. I recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn how to create a sloper and learn about draping. The course list was not up to date when I signed up. Note that you will need to purchase a manequinn, hip curve, and tracing wheel and you will need a soft surface to place under the pattern when using your tracing wheel. I also recommend a cutting board. You also need to have a sewing machine (or be willing to sew by hand). There is only homework between the 3rd and 4th classes during which you will use the sewing machine.

  We did not know what to expect, but boy were we pleasantly surprised. The class was very informative and a lot of fun. The hosts were very engaging and helped us along at every step of the process. They've spent a lot of time creating this process and have had quite the journey to it. The materials provided a great range of colors and patterns and no one's vase looked the same! Great mother-daughter activity and would take more classes with Ingrid and Gayle! 10/10

  I have seriously enjoyed learning from Raphael for the past 3 sessions. I went in with very limited knowledge about drawing technique, and feel as though through Raphaels teaching and guidance, and the time provided by these lessons, I have gained a new passion. Raphael is very encouraging and makes the 2 1/2 hours something to truly look forward to. It is perfectly structured, with a focus on the project you're working on, then a short break to socialize and show sketches we've drawn throughout the week. Everyone I've met in the three sessions is so nice and talented, although it is a completely beginner friendly atmosphere. Raphael has a lot of repeat students who have been learning from him for years, which is a testament to his great teaching style. Overall a really lovely experience and I'd love to continue learning from Raphael in the future! Would highly recommend this class.

She provided notes after the class for those who want to remember the details of the discussion, which was extensive. I look forward to taking the next class. Very good value, too. Highly recommended and we were sent home with an herbal medicine made in class.

  I’ve been looking for a stone carving class for a while. I’m so glad I found this one. First, the Compleat Sculpture is an amazing place.The entire staff is so nice and knowledgeable. The quarry took my breath away. My teacher Alex is amazing. I learned so much the first day about the nuances of each tool. He helped me every step. He’s so knowledgeable and kind. I love my class . I can’t recommend Alex enough.
