Teaches at A Gentle Way Yoga

Carolyn is a 500hr. Senior Teacher. She began her yoga journey thirty years ago in Brooklyn, New York a the first place many of us encounter yoga: the gym. From there, she practiced at the Integral Yoga Center in New York City and at Kripalu where teachers ended class with the words, "Yoga is delicious." 

She studied and later taught Primordial Sound Meditation and Ayurveda at the Chopra Center. And always the Sunday class at A Gentle Way called her back to Lanita's approach to yoga. She focuses on seniors, teaching chair yoga at AGW and at assisted living facilities. 

She loves bringing neglected bodies back to full, vibrant life, helping people reconnect with their deepest innermost selves through the practice of being totally present in every moment.

And she still believes that yoga is delicious. She’ll help you modify it to where you feel the joy, because if it’s not delicious, it’s not yoga!
