Take on the role of architect, engineer, and maker as you design, build, and decorate your very own wooden house, complete with functioning lights, a fan, and handmade furniture. This project-based camp takes you step by step through the engineering process, giving you real experience with circuitry, wiring, and spatial design.
This program is intended for students ages 8 and up. Participants will work with design software and hands-on tools, including laser cutters, and will engage with wiring and engineering concepts suited to this age range.
Notes:
Students who attend for three days or fewer will work on a smaller version of the house project rather than the full-scale model built over a complete week.
