Class Description

Description

A perfect place for your little artist to get their hands messy and their creativity flowing! In this 4 week series, our resident clay master Joy will lead the group as they explore the art of ceramics while learning foundational skills in hand-building and pottery.

Each week, students will:

  • Experiment with hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction.
  • Create their own functional and decorative pieces — from mugs and bowls to whimsical sculptures.
  • Decorate their projects with colorful underglazes and textures.
  • Experience the magic of transformation as their work is professionally fired and finished.

Along the way, your little maker will build patience, confidence, and problem-solving skills while discovering the joy of making something from start to finish. No prior experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to play with clay!

Please dress your little one in clothes that can get messy!  Aprons will be available as well.

All materials included.  Finished pieces will be available for pick up 1-2 weeks after the series is complete.
