Beyond the Basics - Embroidery

If you have already taken elle Warren’s Beginning Embroidery workshop or already have basic embroidery skills, this is the class for you. During the 4 weekly sessions, elle will teach you a minimum of 8 new stitches, with interesting and exclusive canvases that utilize them. Silk ribbon embroidery will be explored, along with some ways to use beads with your embroidery. Interesting ways of creating grid fills, stump work, woven embroidery stitches and much more excitement await you in Beyond the Basics! 

Materials: A materials fee of $20 to be paid directly to the instructor at the first class covers the cost of 3 class project canvases.

What to bring with you: 

• 5” hoop 
• embroidery needles 
• chenille needles 
• sharp little scissors 
• your collection of threads including 6 strand cotton embroidery floss, pearl cotton, silk ribbons, seed beads, rhinestones, sequins, etc. 

Additional materials will be available for purchase, including one of a kind and limited edition hand painted canvases.
