What you'll learn in this embroidery class:
Join fiber artist Elle Warren on for an exciting and creative day of playing with beads and shiny things and learn how to make this beautiful pendant! In just one day, learn basic techniques for sewing beads onto fabric. Beading takes time but you will go home with a good start and all the skills you need to finish the pendant on your own.

- How to select backing to use for bead embroidery
- How to stitch around a cabochon or other focal piece glued onto a backing
- How to stitch additional beads onto the backing and keep them secure
- Different finishing techniques for the edging
- How to make fringe
- How to make a bail to hang your pendant on a ribbon, chain, or beaded rope*
The following materials are included in the class fee:
- Stabilizer and ultrasuede backing for pendant
- Beading needle
- Nymo size D thread
- Focal point molded face
- Glue
- Scissors
- Bead mat
- Assorted sizes of beads: 11˚, 8˚, bugles, drops, crystals, novelty beads and sequins.
- Any small buttons and charms from your stash
- Glasses for close-up work (if needed)
Refund Policy
- We do require a 4 business days advance notice for cancellations. A 5% non-refundable processing fee will be applied for refund requests.
- No refunds, partial or full, will be given for cancellations made less than 4 business days prior to the start of the event.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
