What you'll learn in this calligraphy class:
Join this introductory workshop where you will learn how to turn your personal handwriting into a beautiful work of art. We will practice by learning creative ways to address envelopes and we will learn which tools to use and how to use them at a beginner level. You will leave this class excited to practice your handwriting.
Students will learn the basics of hand lettering including:
Material requirements: $15 lettering kit fee payable to the instructor at the beginning of the workshop.
Location instructions: We are located inside the "Community" shopping center with plenty of free parking. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before the start of your workshop to sign-in and find your seat.
Students will learn the basics of hand lettering including:
- Letter and line width & spacing
- Finding your own lettering style
- Which lettering tools to use
- How to use a Letter Mate
- Creative ways to address an envelope

Refund Policy
We require notification of cancellation 1 week prior to scheduled date for a refund. Less than 1 week notification will receive studio credit to be applied toward a future class, and notification less than 48 hours from scheduled date will receive no credit.
Some workshops require a minimum number of registered students. If we don't meet that minimum, we will contact you at least 48 hours in advance and will offer you your choice of a full refund or studio credit.
