Intro to Copperplate Calligraphy

In this 4 hrs class you will practice the alphabets (upper and lower case) of casual script calligraphy, which we have called Malibu Breeze Alphabet. You'll practice different exercises to have a better understanding of the technique, the correct lines, shapes and proportions of the letters, control of the tools, etc. The class format is open and relaxed from the comfort of your home with the materials you have on hand.

As tools you can use, from a flexible nib and ink to a pencil (preferably soft), you can also practice with a small flexible tip marker (tombow fudenosoke or pentel touch).

You can use the paper of your choice. However, if you plan on using markers or a flexible nib and ink, we recommend using paper with high content of cotton. (check out our KOUS 100% cotton pads) https://tinyurl.com/y6lhedzn
