Kirby has called DEFINE her second family and home since hopping on board 6 years ago. Being able to be around an incredibly special community with infectious positivity, while being in the realm of physical fitness, is what drew Kirby in. She has called Houston “home” all of her life and loves being active whenever the opportunity arises. Volleyball played a big role athletically for 8 years and then a deep interest in weight training led her to pursue her personal training certification through The Cooper Institute in Dallas, TX.
Music is at the forefront of Kirby’s classes and she sees it as the vessel to connect with others mentally and emotionally - the physical component will always follow. Her passion in music brings a wide variety of genres with heavy bass beats, tropical house sounds, and tunes you wouldn’t expect yourself to like (though the goal is to introduce them in a way to make you love them). Her classes are high energy, intense, plenty of fun and very doable for anyone. They serve as a place to create space and release emotions through mindful yet purposeful work - ultimately to push beyond your edges while achieving results.
DEFINE has brought a sense of balance physically, spiritually and mentally for Kirby. As a cancer survivor, DEFINE has served as a special healing place in life by supported before, during and still continuing to this day with love and community. That’s what makes DEFINE such a beautiful place to work for. She looks forward to teaching and sharing this with others.
