Join us for an engaging morning of flower design instruction and creative practice. The Sampler course is ideal for individuals who want to experience our school and take home substantial knowledge about the art and craft of flower designing. This course features three comprehensive projects covering design styles from American to European traditions. Renowned instructor Michael Gaffney will guide you through each project and graciously sign copies of his book, Design Star, for course participants.

All flowers and containers are provided, ensuring you can focus entirely on learning and creating. During this class, you will discover professional techniques for keeping fresh flowers alive for weeks rather than days. Every participant leaves with beautifully designed floral arrangements created during the course. By day's end, you will have created numerous stunning flower designs, requiring practically a shopping basket to transport your work home. This course provides an excellent introduction to the world of professional flower design, teaching techniques Michael Gaffney has demonstrated on the Today Show.

  • Three design projects featuring American, English, and contemporary styles
  • All flowers and containers included, plus professional tools (valued at $250)

Refund Policy

In-person Workshop Classes

  • Refund policy – refunds less a 5% nonrefundable registration fee for deposits are given within 10 days after registration.
  • If you cannot make your chosen date, your registration does not expire and it may be used at a future class date.
  • If you wish to transfer from the original date a $60 transfer fee will be added to any enrollment of a future class.

The Ultimate Online Floral Class

  • Due to potential copyright infringement, there are no refunds on the Ultimate Online Flower Design Class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

    I thoroughly enjoyed this class. Michael exudes excellence. His assistant, Josh was very efficient. They were organized and professional. The class was prompt and ran like a well oiled machine. Listen, I learned more in 4 hours and walked away with 3 arrangements. I took an 8 hour course in December and walked away angry! Michael also interjected humor, while still being firm. Kudos! I look forward to taking the 101.
