Now is the perfect time to explore the satisfying and creative craft of candle-making. This hands-on workshop introduces you to the fundamentals of creating beautiful, fragrant soy wax candles from scratch. You will learn to properly work with melted soy wax, explore and select from a vibrant variety of dyes and fragrances, and carefully pour the mixture into 6-ounce containers to create finished, cured candles that will enhance any home with warmth and aroma.
Each participant creates two 6-ounce soy wax candles during the workshop, with the option to purchase additional candles during checkout if you wish to expand your collection. Your freshly poured candles also make thoughtful, personalized gifts for friends and family members, complete with the satisfaction of having made them yourself.
While your soy wax candles cure and set, you will explore the alternative techniques of beeswax candle-making and traditional hand rolling methods. Choose from a selection of premium beeswax sheets and coordinating wicks to craft your own custom beeswax candle. You can finish your creation with a modern yet simple decorative tie or incorporate it into a beautiful centerpiece for your home.
Important Guidelines and Safety:
- Children aged 17 and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times during the workshop.
- We can provide protective aprons and gloves upon request, but we are not responsible for damage or staining to clothing, shoes, bags, or water bottles that result from contact with our materials.
- This workshop welcomes participants of all ages and experience levels. Our craft-and-go table is open to creative participants at any skill level, though adults must accompany children aged 14 and younger to ensure safety.
- Expect the candle-making activity to take approximately 30 to 45 minutes to complete from start to finished product.
