Class Description

Description

Study mixology with a professional at the Institute of Culinary Education!

Fall into the Season with these classic cozy flavors:

  • “Espresso” Martini—the perfect pick me up after a long day in the kitchen (or a long day snacking on hors d’oeuvres!). This version uses cold brew, no espresso machine needed. (Vodka, cold brew, coffee liqueur)
  • Penicillin—a ginger-y smoky modern classic that pairs great with thanksgiving sides & pies alike. (Scotch, lemon, honey, ginger)
  • Amaro Crusta—Amari are a category of digestif spirits that aid with digestion after a meal. While on its own Amari may be too bitter for some, this turns it into a balanced and crowd pleasing cocktail that will ward off that too-full feeling. (Amaro, lemon, maraschino, triple sec)
  • Bee’s Kiss—What’s thanksgiving without dessert? This 3 ingredient classic from the 40’s withstands the test of time and is not-too-sweet. (Aged rum, honey, cream)

*You must be at least 21 years old to attend this class. Your age will be verified in person.*

School Notes:
We advise students to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the class start time. It is very important to start all classes on time. Because the lecture and class overview happen at the beginning of each class, losing the first few minutes can make a big difference in the class being successful or stressful for a student.

ICE provides everything you need for your class from aprons to knives and recipes. Students will get to keep the recipe packet you receive in class. In the event that you misplace your packet, email customer service at [email protected] to receive a digital version.

Students can take their food home. There are takeout containers available for transporting your food home.

For those with dietary concerns, there are no substitutions, but we soon will offer meat-free classes as well as gluten-free classes.

Photo Policy: Of course, we encourage photos, so capture memories of your dishes and feel free to tag us @iceculinary!

Refund Policy

There are no refunds or school credit issued when fewer than 48 hours’ notice from the class start date is given. Prior to 48 hours’ notice, a full refund is available, minus the transaction fees. The Institute of Culinary Education reserves the right to cancel any class that fails to attract sufficient enrollment.

In case of cancellation, all students will be notified and a full refund will be given.

There are no make-up classes.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
