Class Description
Description
This beginner's workshop serves as an introduction to printing on fabrics. Students will learn about the art of block printing on textiles starting with a brief history of the process and an introduction to the materials.
Time will be given to draw, refine, and simplify designs in a manner which will transfer well on textiles- and then students will start carving!
Students are welcome to bring their own materials to print on, however we will have fabric samples and papers available to print on as well. Fabrics with a finer weave transfer imagery best. Students will leave with their carved blocks and printed textiles.
No experience necessary and no drawing skills required.
All materials will be included!
Refund Policy
- Full refund for cancellation 7 or more days before the class.
- 50% refund for cancellation 6 days to 24 hours in advance of the class.
- No refund for cancellation of less than 24 hour notice.
- Reschedule request is fine so long as it is 24 hours in advance.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
