Description

In celebration of Halloween, we’ll be painting a fantasy-inspired portrait—ethereal and full of character. You’ll learn to mix realistic skin tones while embracing loose, expressive brushstrokes to bring your painting to life. Whether you’re after realism or just want to loosen up, this class will help you master the balance between control and creativity. Plus, you’ll leave with your own fantastical masterpiece to usher in the spooky season!

In this workshop, you will:

Learn the art of mixing skin tones in an Alla Prima style (which is simply wet on wet painting)
Explore techniques for loosening your brushwork, creating soft edges and expressive strokes.
Dive into the balance between detail and spontaneity, allowing the paint to flow naturally.
Be guided step-by-step in creating your own portrait, with references I will be providing for you to choose from :)

Refund Policy

You may cancel for a refund up to 21 days before the workshop. After that, workshop fees are not refundable or transferable.

We reserve the right cancel or reschedule a workshop with fewer than 4 sign ups. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you will receive a refund.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
