New Mother - New Baby: A Postpartum

Once your baby arrives, the reality of being responsible for baby's care, nourishment, safety, and stimulation can feel overwhelming. 
New Mother – New Baby class helps shorten your learning curve with lots of tried-and-true tips and ideas on how to survive and thrive during the first weeks and months with baby. 
You'll also enjoy being in the company of other new mothers who are having experiences similar to your own.

Class topics:

• Living with a new baby
• Baby care
• Mother care
• Infant massage
• Breastfeeding, first foods & childhood nutrition
• Aiding your child's growth & development – 0 to 2 years
• Safety & accident prevention
• Common illnesses: when to call the doctor
• Preparing to return to work or school

Class Details:

• This class is attended by new mothers and their babies aged 0 - 5 months.
• Attend as soon as possible after giving birth.
• This class meets once a week for six weeks.
• Babies cry. We all expect that. Come to class anyway.
• To protect mothers and babies, please do not attend class if you even suspect illness in yourself or your baby.

What Your Registration Includes:

• Attendance in six sessions for you and your baby

• A packet of information prepared exclusively for mothers
• Parking validation for one vehicle for each session
